It's always helpful to hear strategy from the guys who advise our government financial leadership, so courtesy of marketfolly below is a top down macro overview by the boys from Goldman Sachs (GS). More graphs and figures than you can shake a stick at....

While it is nice to see some sort of fundamental justification, I have put out a competing research report myself. Since I tend to be a K.I.S.S. type of person, it consists of 3 lines: When the dollar falls, buy anything irrespective of fundamentals ... and win. When the dollar rallies, vice versa. Rinse, wash, repeat.
