How many houses or yachts or art pieces do they need?&lt;/I&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;I have a friend who used to play one of those online MMO games.  He was THE best player in game on the server he played on, yet he would spend hours upon hours to find a piece of rare equipment to make his stats only 1 point better.  Would he have continued to be the best player w/o spending that time?  Most likely, but it's the game that he loved.  The thrill of min/maxing his character to extremes.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;A lot of these CEOs (and other type-A wall street people) are the exact same way.  Money is simply the scorecard and it's the game of making as much as possible in the shortest amount of time that they are addicted to.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;Or to break it down another way, you can split people into 2 groups.
