I am glad to hear if someone learns anything from the blog - I am certainly not going to be correct 100% of the time(no one is) but if someone can avoid some mistakes most of us have to go through while we get our 'stock education' that is always good to hear.

Mark this is a fantastic post. I'm a student who jumped into the market at a pretty bad time (middle July 2007). I have probably learned more from you than everything thing else out there. You've even helped inspire me to switch career directions. So thanks for post like these where you teach others the reasoning behind things. (I hope that didn't sound too much like I was your #1 fan or anything heh)

Thanks, I am glad 1 person read that whole mess ;)...

Thanks, I am glad 1 person read that whole mess ;)
I have not read the articles today - I believe he is espousing the Fed funds, you must buy theory which could be right. Generally when Fed cuts the theory is you need to be buying. I always argued with that because if that is true what should you be doing when Fed is raising? :)

Tough call right now on those teflon tech stocks - they really have not done much since last Wednesday. Either rotation is changing away or they are resting before the next move. I did a lot of charts on major tech leaders ala CSCO this weekend, and the charts are putrid with no bounce. Makes me worried about tech in general and the theory that tech is safe haven.

One of your best ( i mean very best) posts Mark.
