Makes you wonder if the proposed bailout will loosen up funds for companies such as this one. Who'd have thought it. As they say 'people can't stop eating'. Apparently Pilgrim's Pride went a little overboard in their acquisitions as did some other similar companies. <BR/><BR/>Oddly enough, CALM, which has a very nice balance sheet, has no real debt and has shown some good returns is on the 'heavily shorted list'. Compared to Sanderson, Tyson and Pilgrim, it's a winner. Just makes no sense. <BR/><BR/>And then there's HOGS, which isn't really doing anything wrong either... aside from being a Chinese company...
