These i-...</title><content type='html'>I said yesterday it is like Frakenstein.  These i-banks created the leverage and fed the hedge funds.  Now the hedge funds have come back to attack their enablers.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;Tomorrow will be interesting.  Let's see if there is a change in character due to the naked short selling.  I am wondering if these credit default swaps are the next issue.  They are supposed to be reflective of a company's intrinsic value much like the stock price is.  But since they so much more illiquid they can be manipulated easier than the stock.  And since people look at the swaps as a sign of "trouble" - then "trouble" can be created very easily now.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;At this rate Goldman might go back to being private by this weekend.
