The question is how much of this is already discounted in stock prices vs not. Apparently a lot more is discounted than I assumed. (judging from the market reaction). I also assume the market is beginning to price in another 50 basis point cut next meeting? This plus the negative retail news and so on will continue to remind the consumer that all is not well yet. Not that the market seems to care, apparently.
