Ethanol is one of my bug-a-boos. Brazil is willing to sell us all the Ethanol we need and cheap. So what does the present administration do? Slap a tariff on it of course! Needless to say, nobody wants to upset the Midwest in an election year.

its cost of sales

if it were just sales then retailers would be 400% higher. The problem is they actually need to make profit on what they sell; when you give it away sure you will get volume. So I can sell all the chicken I want but i need to sell it a profit to stick around.

The same idiots who are handing out trillions and parading executives up to the Hill are the same clapping like seals for corn ethanol. That causes major issues on the cost side - every "solution" has after effects. Just like the "solutions" we are embarking on now to interfere will have after effects we have to deal with later.

So don't you worry, we deal with the fire on the couch we are sitting on. When it causes 8 fires elsewhere in 3-7 years, that will be another cast of characters to deal with it. Yee haw.

I was looking at Pilgrim, Tyson and Sanderson awhile back. They all just had so much debt, that I didn't buy any of them. I think CALM, the egg producer is financially sound, but was being pummeled by the short crowd. Still feel HOGS and PDA are better meat plays. Still sorry to see it land on the pink sheets.
