You have to figure that the Fed would never let an American icon like them fail with all the employees, pensioners, union workers, suppliers, dealerships that rely on GM. I think I read that between GM and its suppliers and dealer network...the number of jobs effected would be 800,000. Furthermore, I'm not sure the government would effectively wipe out their common like they did with AIG, FNM, and FRE...GM is not a financial company who made bad bets on subprime, I dont see there being any government interest in exacting blood from them in exchange for loan gaurantees. I'm thinking it could double or triple in price with the announcement of government help, meanwhile at 3, theres only a buck or 2 downside ...your thoughts???</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/2335748440449035592/4356760996189320712/comments/default/321123247972707186'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/2335748440449035592/4356760996189320712/comments/default/321123247972707186'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://www.fundmymutualfund.com/2008/11/general-growth-properties-ggp-looks-to.html?showComment=1226453520000#c321123247972707186' title=''/><author><name>sdk_IV</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/06357215762477665878</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://www.fundmymutualfund.com/2008/11/general-growth-properties-ggp-looks-to.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2335748440449035592.post-4356760996189320712' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/2335748440449035592/posts/default/4356760996189320712' type='text/html'/></entry></feed>
