But I noticed that in past several weeks, Fridays have been overwhelmingly up days! I wonder if traders who are short the market like to cover their shorts before leaving for weekend.  So it is possible that this was just another Friday effect...   I guess another dark implication of this view is that short sellers are running the market.  There are no real long term buyers ready to step up.  &lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;What do you think of this idea, Mark?
