I doubt that anyone will consider a few Corollas will really pick up the slack for them.. It will be the first time Posco steel has been used to make Toyota cars in Japan, he said.<BR/><BR/>Toyota has bought steel from Posco for its factories in Thailand and Indonesia since 2003, Matsubara said.<BR/><BR/>Posco, which earns about 70 percent of its revenue in its domestic market, has been gaining a competitive edge against Japanese rivals because of the cheaper won. The Korean won lost 26 percent against the U.S. dollar last year, the worst performance among the 10 most-traded Asian currencies.<BR/><BR/>Posco sells to other major Japanese carmakers, including Nissan Motor and Mitsubishi Motors.
