DUG has run up but again a very imperfect product. XOM is the top component and XOM does not fall 30% in 2 weeks like many of the smaller stuff that we own. But it's the best we can do in this environment without being able to hedge effectively.

I am usually early but I had a good call with the timing of DUG. Just needed to make it about 20% of the portfolio to hedge out the rest of the commodities it appears.

I'm not worried on the fertilizers - once the market gets done thrashing them they will be the best buys in the market. One day.

Nice day for APWR. The more I read the more I like this stock. CMED is back to 49 and re-testing its highs again. Also a stellar company.

I was busy but I got back to you a bit on FEED.

I with you, Heebner, and Montgomery on the potash fertilizers. This is a great story... still if the market wants the market will take. I will cut my losses after the call if the bears come in... then I will watch it and watch it as often as I can and jump right back in.

Do an overlay of DIG and the commodity stocks... unquestionable correlation. Next time I may hedge commodity stocks with some DUG. You may have done it because 'oil was toppy' and you were right... it also turns out to be a nice hedge...
