Check this out.. Not related to this post but how do we interpret such following news? I mean, given all we read on your blog, shouldn't these small businesses, who rely so much on consumer spending and all, be scared to death. Something is not adding up.

Almost 78% of U.S. small-business owners and managers say their companies will meet or exceed growth expectations this year, according to a national survey conducted in May by personnel-management provider Administaff Inc. (ASF), the Austin (Texas) Business Journal reported Thursday. Of 6,000 small and midsize businesses surveyed, about 44% are hiring full-time employees, while 11% plan to add part-timers. Respondents said average compensation is up 4.9% from the same time in 2007, while commissions have increased 6.8%.
