Even if we go to 1% GDP growth with inflation rearing its head, it won't be nice for us. &lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;As for Ben, he (they) will cut, period.  The drumbeat will start leading into Halloween, louder, day by day, we must have one... we must have one... and then will he risk shattering confidence in the equity market to have morals? Nah! I am being a bit facetious but you would not be creating $100 billion self bailouts (creating your own customer) if everything was going smoothly.  The key words he said to me was inflation is contained.  Thats the green light.  They will 'take care' of issues such as inflation and destitute dollar another day.
