The KC BOT raised margin requirements too. So, this will actually make it a little more difficult for speculators --- if they went home with a position before the rule change, they now have to post twice as much cash. The daily limits were increased to facilitate "faster price discovery" after the market was limit up like 4 or 5 days in a row. They reported a great quarter and there is a good short interest.
