On a side note, you are doing a fantastic job with this blog! I've been telling everyone that will listen that it is the only blog on the internet worth following.

You've done a great job in 2008 of keeping it real and telling it like it is! Keep it up in 2009. Some day I hope that you'll get that mutual fund up and running!

In closing, based on everything that I am seeing, I would not be surprised if some of the big wigs are not already following this blog on a daily basis! I'll leave it at that!

I took out about 4-5 things and kept rotating what stays in and out. Wanted to keep it shorter than War and Peace so I go with 13 long winded things.

My original #13 was the Detroit Lions win first game in 2 years in Fall 2009 ;)

I took out some stock prediction stuff, pension stuff, FDIC stuff - etc. Only so much room.

I wrote this damn thing over the past 3 weeks and the 10 year has already fallen from 2.59% to 2.10%! #13 is already partially "happening" - I was going to say below 2.00% on the 10 year bond but that sounded outlandish - a 35% move? Might happen by next week at this pace. Gosh.

Excellent post! It's going to be a very interesting year. I'm already looking forward to the mid-year report card.

I was surprised not to see something with reference to Healthcare on the list. I would think that with Obama taking office in '09, Q3 and Q4 might get interesting in this space.
