Netezza (NZ) has been a rampant 'takeover' rumor mill candidate the past week or two as a parlay to the 3Par saga. Yesterday's move was debilitating to shorts as they were squeezed to high heaven... just 8 sessions after being squeezed the first time around. I debated putting on a short around 3:58 PM yesterday but was worried of a gap up this AM, instead it has gapped down. At this point the main thing the stock has going for is continuing rumors... technically, this is massively overbought. I am still debating the name - shorting "story" stocks always has risk because the movement is completely disassociated with facts.
