The Daily Show: American Grandstand

TweetThis
A funny 4 minute segment from John Stewart.... personally I would of loved to see a scroll below each Congress person's head showing how much in contributions they received from the 8 banks they are grilling.

Pandit from Citigroup is hilarious with his "I will take $1" - considering Citigroup bought his hedge fund for $170M ... and it was closed a year later.

Bank CEOs explain why they haven't complied with conditions Congress never actually attached to the bailout money in the first place.

Thanks, Mark, that was a riot. Wish I could have been as funny in my blog entry, but I think we all share a sense of disgust at all the participants, of the entire process, and where all of this might be heading:

Bob you should allow comments on your blog. I always try to leave a comment but there is no place to do so ;)

If you thought Stewart was funny, you'd be rolling in the aisles while watching the CNBC coverage. I know I was. It really was stupid. I'm sure they all went out for drinks afterwards... Paid with TARP funds, naturally...

Mark,
I had you pegged for a John Stewart kinda guy all along.
Tough choice between him and Olbermann.
The REAL show stopper is John Oliver the bloke from England.
