Since that is not our time frame, I was more curious to see what is holding up the best EX-precious metals. I came up with a very small list of 80 stocks that simply hold the following conditions
- Stock price $10+
- Average volume 100K+
- Trading over 20, 50, and 200 day (simple) moving average
- Minimum market cap of $300 million

Mark, what screening tool do you use? Thanks. TJ
I have to say "LOL" to the title.
That basically says it all.
But I was wondering, are you bullish on gold stocks?? I remember you mentioned some in the summer as possible hedges, but I hear the common thesis is that costs for mining are plunging and if prices go up, then margins expand like mad, so it may be like a 3X levered play on gold on the upside, and maybe only down 1X on the downside because costs are coming down, and if gold drops, then it'd signal more downward pressure on prices overall, meaning production costs.
I was wondering if you heard that before or agreed with that.
BTW: last week it seemed like everyone and his mom was in gold (cramer said buy gold at 1000, AEM at the top), so i guess the down $50 correction was inevitable.
Bill
