Bookkeeping: Selling 25% of Garmin (GRMN)

TweetThis
Notice a trend today?

I am going to sell 50 of the remaining 200 shares of Garmin (GRMN) I bought during the Navteq - Nokia paranoia. Partly because the stock is stalling here in the low 110s and partly due to all the reasons outlined over past 24 hours. This position is up from 6-11% in 2 weeks from the various positions I bought during the panic selling (I layered in at various price points), so I am going to secure some more of those gains here in the $112s.

Technically, this stock is in classic no man's land - it needs to either break out to new highs in the $120s or drop back to low $100s to be a more classic entry point. I will look to add when I see more conviction one way or the other - I still think it will be a great Christmas for Garmin. This sale brings Garmin down to around 1.5% of fund.

Long Garmin in fund; no personal position.
