"Shares of Akamai Technologies fell $1, or 3.1 percent, to $31.26, after Kaufman Brothers analyst Sameet Sinha downgraded the software maker to "Sell," from "Hold," and slashed the price target on the stock to $25 from $33.
"Our call is based on intensifying price competition among existing players and new entrants, which we believe puts pressure on bursting revenues at Akamai," Sinha wrote in a note to clients."
