No stopping Aluminum Corp of China (ACH)

TweetThis
Who needs VMWare, when you have ACH. Up another 20%+ today - I am trying to figure out why....

my first guess is perhaps this is an arbitrage situation - referring back to my post last week about opening up the Hong Kong market to Chinese investors. The domestic Chinese market, called the Chinese "A" shares, have been living in their own speculative twilight zone - whereas the stocks that also trade on the Honk Kong market ("H" shares) traded at a steep discount as this is a worldwide market open to all investors. Perhaps some of this jump is with the opening up the H share market to mainland Chinese, the valuations on stocks that trade in both markets will converge to some degree ... however this just means overinflated valuations that make no sense jump from the 'twilight zone' to the Honk Kong Exchange. Could it be that simple?

I don't see this action in other large cap Chinese stocks such as China Mobile (CHL), CNOOC (CEO), etc....

I am selling about 2/3 of the remaining position into this strength - this stock was in the 30s about a week ago and is printing north of $65 today. Wow.

Long ACH in fund; no personal positions
